On his HBO show Friday night, Bill Maher complained about President Obama's frequent public outings. He compared the president to Lindsay Lohan: in the papers a lot but not doing very much. "This is not what I voted for," Maher said, arguing that Obama has maintained his personal popularity but failed to make real progress on health care, banks, or climate change.

I believe cable news should be Fair and Balanced and in doing so I watch msnbc as well as FOX.

The worse of the worse on msnbc are the Keith"I squat to Pee" Doberman show and the Rectal"I stand to Pee" Madcow show.

The only news they show are clips from various FOX shows and all they talk about is still (6 mo's after the election) Bush, Chaney, Rush, and O'Reilly. Doberman has segments called What the F......( real class) and he uses FU to reply to a story they showed copied from other channels. It is so disgusting to see the bile they feed the 8 or 9 viewers that msnbc has left.

FOX has been the No. 1 rated cable news show for 11 years straight and after watching Doberman and Madcow, you will see why.

"BO has more CZARs than Mother Russia"

A shadow government is giving the Obama administration unprecedented power with virtually no oversight.
Our system of checks and balances was designed to protect liberty by ensuring that power could never be concentrated. Yet, over the years, progressives on both sides of the aisle have been slowly chipping away at that fundamental idea.
During FDR's administrations, some executive positions were actually called "dictators" — like the "dictator of steel," "dictator of lumber," etc. The idea was for them to control supply within each industry in order to keep up prices.
Richard Nixon did the same thing, but instead of calling them "dictators" he called them "czars." The first was an "energy czar" who was charged with overseeing the 1970s energy crisis. (And what a bang-up job he did. We are a-OK on the old energy front these days!)
Other presidents have also named czars, but no one can hold a candle to President Obama who has named 21 czars so far — and he's not done yet!
So, what's the problem? I mean, czars can cut through the bureaucracy and get stuff done, right? Right… but who do they answer to?
They don't need to be confirmed by the Senate; they rarely go before committees; they can claim "executive privilege" when asked to testify, and they're accountable to no one but the president himself.
But look at the power we've handed to these unelected, unconfirmed people.
On the low end, you've got the "Great Lakes czar," who has a budget of $475 million. But on the high end, you've got the economic czar, regulatory czar and government performance czar that can oversee trillions of dollars.

In between you've got a "drug czar," "terrorism czar," "urban affairs czar," "technology czar," "intelligence czar," "cyber czar" and six other "czars" — we could really use a "czar czar" to stay on top of.
Could our founders really have been dumb enough to write a Constitution that would allow this to happen? Of course not. The Constitution says that all revenue bills must start in the House and that oversight is one of the most important jobs of the legislative branch — two concepts that are now being shredded.
Besides, if this isn't just a power grab, then why do we need a "health czar" when we already have a confirmed health and human services secretary? Why do we need a "border czar" when we have ICE and a secretary of homeland security? Why do we need a "car czar" when we already have Treasury and Energy Departments?
The answer: Because none of that bureaucracy answers directly to the president... the czars do. Everyone else answers to you. The czars don't.

Rev. Wright Says 'Them Jews' Won't Let Obama Talk to Him
The Rev. Jeremiah Wright says he doesn't have any regrets over his severed relationship with President Obama.

In a racially charged interview, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright said that President Obama hasn't spoken to him since they parted ways last year, because "them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me."
He suggested White House advisers were keeping the two separate.
"Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office," Wright said, according to Virginia's Daily Press. "They will not let him ... talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is."
Obama left Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago last year following the very public controversy over his inflammatory sermons.
Wright sporadically has granted media interviews and made public appearances since. In the Daily Press article, he also claimed that the president did not send a delegation to the recent world racism conference in Geneva for fear of offending Jews.
"Ethnic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing of the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don't want Barack talking like that because that's anti-Israel," Wright said.
Wright said he voted for Obama in November and has no regrets over their severed relationship.
"Regret for what ... that the media went back five, seven, 10 years and spent $4,000 buying 20 years worth of sermons to hear what I've been preaching

"Only a Heart Beat Away"

Avid train rider and Vice President Joe Biden, on a conference call Monday with reporters, mistakenly claimed that the planned Hudson River tunnel between New Jersey and Midtown Manhattan would provide a much-anticipated route for automobiles.
Problem is, it's for trains.
The $8.7 billion tunnel is among the largest new projects to be funded in the Obama administration's $787 billion stimulus package.
"Look, this is designed, this totally new tunnel, is designed to provide for automobile traffic," Biden said, according to The Record of Bergen County. "It's something, as you know, up your way, that's been in the works and people have been clamoring for for a long time."
The Record, which asked Biden the tunnel-related question on the call, called the vice president out on the error. The north Jersey newspaper noted that the tunnel would accommodate more New Jersey Transit trains during peak hours -- cars are not part of the equation.
The mistake is notable given the former Delaware senator's well-documented affinity for trains and frequent Amtrak commutes between Washington and Wilmington during his Senate years. Biden also inadvertently irked public transit when he warned Americans in late April not to travel in "confined places" for fear of contracting swine flu.
