  3. It is a non sequitur because the conclusion does not follow regardless of whether things are good or bad. What do transvestites have to do with Nancy Pelosi?

  5. What do you mean you made no other statement? You wrote: "This pretty much explains why we are where we are!" This last part isn't a fact, it's a conclusion. Sure, it's ambiguous, but my point is that regardless of how you or your readers interpret this conclusion, it remains a non sequitur. In other words, that these people exist in Pelosi's district really doesn't have anything to do with the state of the country, or anything.

Certainly you must have had a point to make. What is it?

    Love ya back. jp.

  6. I will weigh in on this as well. So, Bush inherited a new American with the advent of Sept 11, 2001 and chose a path of retaliation that was not quite the right choice. The economny actually started going downhill after it crested during the Clinton Adminsitration. Any Presidental election year is equal to U.S. Economy stagnation. President Obama is now the president, and sure he inherited problems, but he is making new ones. The amount of money being spent, by a democratic congress is simply staggering. He aims to turn the US into Canada, Goverment Health Care, VAT Tax. Free enterprise is all but non existent. Banks are forced to be owned by the government, and those that want to pay back can't. The point is that the Democratic Congress under Nancy Pelosi is not exactly doing a stellar job, and that cannot be blamed on Bush. But.... as true Americans we will stand behind our elected officals and do our best to support them, it doesnt mean we have to agree with them.
